Whether you’ve been with us both weeks or you’re just getting to know Temple, we’re really glad you’re here 🤎 ![Laughter and conversation after the Sunday gathering at Clare House](https://churchusercontent.com/96f80985-280e-4972-ae4b-84735978f3c2/Temple_Church_2026-10-27T20-39-21-878Z.jpg?w=1400) A moment from Sunday. The series ## Saints, two weeks in. Not stained-glass superheroes. Ordinary people God calls His own. Week 1 · 18‌th Oct‌ober Tailored grace. Being a saint isn’t a level you reach. It’s who God says you are. A sale suit fits everyone roughly; a tailored suit is made for you. God’s grace is made to measure. “Grace doesn’t dissolve your past, it resolves your future.” 1 Peter 1:15-16 · Philippians 3 · Genesis 3 Week 2 · 25‌th Oct‌ober Substitutes. Rescued from Egypt, Israel still built a golden calf. An idol is anything you trust to do God’s job. A substitute can be good. It just can’t be God. “A substitute is a god you can hold. The real God is the one who holds you.” Acts 7 · Exodus 32-33 Something to sit with What are you trusting to do God’s job this week? Saints · resources ## Want to go a little deeper? The calling comes first. Holiness isn’t how we earn grace, it’s how we respond to it.
